goals.

I suppose that with a project, one should have goals. There will be specific monthly goals, and maybe a couple weekly goals... which are to be decided monthly {depending on my progress.}

{Month of October}

Week one, October 11th - Read and research {art books} on how to draw portraits and the different types of strokes.
Week two, October 21st - Practice using the different strokes throughout the week. Look for other techniques and just basically learn a lot :)
Week three, October 28th - Start during class and work through artistic techniques and such. Practice shading and texturing, and possibly rough sketches if there is time.

{Month of November}

Week four, November 4th - Blog about my goals for November. Do some more drawings at home, practice the main facial features.
Week five, November 11th - Continue facial feature practice, maybe research a bit more?
Week six, November 18th - Start doing some more drawing, in class and throughout the week.
Week seven, November 25th - Do another sketch or two, find some more inspirations and try experiment with different ages...

{Month of December}

Week eight, December 2nd - Blog about the differences between child/adult/teen face structure and shape. Have an example or two {that I drew} along with the post. Also begin my long-time, "full" size project for a child's face.
Week nine, December 9th - start working on the Pinterest inspiration resource and blog about that. Work on my portrait project during the week.
Week ten, December 16th - work on my portrait project in class or during the week. Find my next steps/inspiration and blog about the preparation/thoughts for that at the end of the week..
Week eleven, December 23rd - finish my portrait of the young boy. blog about what i learned and the final post with the sequence of progress pictures. If time, start my next project picture.
Week twelve, December 30th - commence work on the second project. Also, start thinking about summing up what I learned and my reflections during this project.

{Month of January}

Week thirteen, January 6th - prepare for my final presentation, and work on the second project if time.
Week fourteen, January 13th - make some notes for my final presentation. Compile all that I've worked on and the information that I've gotten. Make sure that everything is ready for the presentation during the week!
